Terms and Conditions - In-Studio Piercing Service

1. Informed Consent

Before any service, the client acknowledges having been informed of the risks associated with piercing, of the procedures involved and of the aftercare required. They confirm having had the opportunity to ask any questions they wished, and state that they fully understand the information provided.

2. Minimum Age

Piercing is reserved for people aged 18 and over. Minors may be accepted only with written authorization and in the presence of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Identification

Valid photo ID (national identity card, passport, driver's license) must be presented before the piercing is carried out.

4. Client Health Status

The client agrees to inform the piercer of any medical condition that could affect the piercing process, including but not limited to: allergies, hemophilia, diabetes, transmissible diseases, pregnancy or any other relevant health issue.

5. Hygiene and Safety

We are committed to the strictest hygiene and safety standards. All equipment used is sterile and single-use. Work surfaces are disinfected before and after every client.

6. Aftercare

Detailed aftercare instructions are provided to the client. It is the client's responsibility to follow them, in order to support healing and reduce the risk of complications.

7. Possible Risks and Complications

The client is informed of the potential risks associated with piercing, such as infection, allergic reactions, scarring and other complications. The studio cannot be held liable for complications resulting from a failure to follow the recommended aftercare.

8. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Any cancellation or rescheduling of an appointment must be made at least 24 hours in advance. In the event of a no-show or a late cancellation, a fee may apply. Deposits paid are non-refundable.

9. Confidentiality and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting the confidentiality of the client's personal information. The data collected is used solely for the purposes of the service and in accordance with applicable data protection law.

10. Photography Consent

With the client's consent, photos of the finished piercing may be taken. These images may be used for promotional purposes (website, social media), while respecting the client's anonymity if they wish.

11. Client Responsibility

The client acknowledges that the decision to get pierced is voluntary and accepts the risks associated with the procedure. They agree to follow the advice and recommendations given by the piercer.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance falls within the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts.

14. Waiver of Liability

By accepting the conditions described above, the client releases the company "OBSIDIAN" from all liability and waives any legal action or claim relating to the piercing procedure.
